Tal Der Konige Rules Clarifications

Martin Higham (martin@trefoil.demon.co.uk) offers the following clarifications to the rules for Tal Der Konige.

Turn Sequence on Crib Sheet

  1. Auction the stones
  2. Write and then move overseers
  3. Move workers
  4. Steal stones
  5. Takeover pyramids
  6. Build pyramids
  7. Move the pharoah stone

One important point here is that pyramids are taken over only in phase 5.

Workers may either steal stones or contribute to a takeover but may not do both.

Bidding

The first player bids all of their chits at once then the bid passes to the next player who does the same.
