Additional Cards for WizWar

This rendition of the rules by Moonpile.

Howdy, Cedric wanted me to post these. This is a set of cards to be used in conjunction with the original cards for Wiz-War. They're free to you. Just think of me and John Need who designed them for a X-mas present to Catherine Meadors. Have fun!

They can be copied directly into Word or something and printed out as cards if you use 10 point New Century Schoolbook. I'm sure other fonts would work as well.

The Cards

NEUTRAL - L.O.S. - Gives line of sight for any one spell.

ATTACK - BRAIN TRANSPLANT - Swap hands with any player. Includes displayed cards.

NEUTRAL - GATEWAY - Creates a permanent gateway between two spaces to be chosen by the caster. The gateways goes both ways and cannot be skipped over.

NEUTRAL/COUNTERACTION - LOS - DISPEL MAGIC - Dispels any duration based spell. l excluding spells with permanentphysical effect. Includes BUDDY but not CREATE WALL. Cannot be REUSED.

NEUTRAL - NULL MAGIC - Nullifies any spell cast in, into or through the sector in which it is cast. Duration equals NUMBER card used.

ATTACK - LOS - STRIP - Must remove number of articles of clothing. Number equals NUMBER card used.

ATTACK - LOS - SIP - Must sip beverage. Number of sips equals NUMBER card used.

NEUTRAL - MONOWARP - Allows player to exit any sector and enter any other sector through a sector entrance.

NEUTRAL - LOS - BISEXUAL HORDE - Grows one square in a random direction per round, assimlating anyone in its path. Those who are assimilated win the game but everyone else keeps playing. Duration equals NUMBER card played. Blocks LOS.

NEUTRAL/COUNTERACTION - LOS - FILL SQUARE WITH FIRE - Fills the target square with fire. Passing through it does four points of damage per round and ends movement for that round. As counteraction, it stops WATERBOLT and WALL OF WATER. Duration equals NUMBER card played.

NEUTRAL - LOS - SLIDE - Allows the caster to move as far as possible in LOS.

NEUTRAL - LOS - ONE-WAY DOOR - Makes any door go in one direction only as specified by the caster. The effects are permanent. Can cancel or reverse the direction of a door that has already had ONE- WAY DOOR cast upon it.

NEUTRAL/ATTACK - LOS - BLINK - Makes the target teleport d4 spaces in a random direction. Neutral if cast on oneself or on a movable object. Attack if cast against an enemy wizard.

NEUTRAL - LOS - CREATE DOOR - Creates a door in any one wall in LOS.

NEUTRAL - BERSERK - Allows caster to attack twice in one turn.

NEUTRAL - LOS - WANDERING MONSTER - Does three points of damage to anyone in the same square. Has 6 POINTS. After its first attack it moves 5 spaces in random direction until it hits a wall or intersection. It continues to roll directions until it has moved its full movement. Moves directly after the caster.

ATTACK- LOS - HOLY HAND GRENADE OF ANTIOCHE - Does five points of damage to everything in its square, and two points to everythin in adjacent and diagonal squares. Can be set with a fuse equal in rounds to the NUMBER card played. 50% chance to defuse. If defuse roll fails it immediatly detonates.

NEUTRAL - DOOR JAM - Can be used to jam a door open, or used to jam a door closed from one side.

NEUTRAL - HEAL - Heals a number of points equal to the NUMBER card played.

NEUTRAL - HEAL - Heals a number of points equal to the NUMBER card played.

ATTACK - LOS - MOVE OPPONENT - Moves the victim in whichever direction the caster desires a number of squares equal to the NUMBER card played. The victim must be in LOS at first, but may be moved out of LOS.

NEUTRAL - LOS - REPULSE - Pushes any object or wizard in LOS as far away as possible in LOS.

NEUTRAL - EARTHQUAKE - Moves every object on the board one square in a random direction. If an object hits a wall or other immobile object, then it does not move at all.

NEUTRAL - LOS - LOCK OBJECT - Locks any object not currently being carried in place. Duration equals NUMBER card played.

item - CROSSBOW - Allows the player to fire crossbow bolts once per round.

ATTACK - LOS - BOLT - Can be fired by the crossbow for three points of damage.

stone - STUPIDSTONE - Drop one card now. Hand limit is now six cards. This card is permanent. Display when drawn. This stone cannot be dropped by normal means. DROP OBJECT, CARD ERASURE, SWAP HANDS and similar spells will get rid of the STUPIDSTONE.

NEUTRAL - LOS - CREATE PIT Creates a pit that completely fills one square. It takes one turn to climb into the pit and one to climb out. If you fall unintentionally (i.e. DRAGged, REPULSEd) then take 5 points.

NEUTRAL - LOS - CREATE POOL - Creates a pool of water that completely fills one square. Entering the pool stops movement. The pool counteracts FIREBALL, but AMPLIFIES LIGHTNING BLAST.

NEUTRAL - PLANK - Allows travel in one direction only over PITS and POOLS. must be dropped on square.

NEUTRAL - LOS - Uh-Oh! GROUND FOG - Fills the square with fog that blocks LOS. When traveling throught the fog, two movement points must be expended and the player will come out in a random direction. Duration equals NUMBER card played.

NEUTRAL - SLOW SECTOR - Anyone moving in or into the sector where this spell has been cast can only move one square per round. Duration equals NUMBER card played.

stone - FAMILIARSTONE - Gives the owner a familiar with 5 points. The wizard can divide his movement in any way between himself and his familiar. He has LOS from both his own square and the square that his familiar is in. If the familiar is killed, the stone drops where the familiar last stood, for any to pick up.

NEUTRAL - PHILANTHROPIC FEELING! - When you draw this card, immediately discard it and then shuffle your hand, including displayed cards, and deal them to all the other players, starting from to your left. These players must discard if their hands exceed their limits. Then draw two cards from the deck.

NEUTRAL - BEEN CAUGHT STEALIN'! - Return one treasure that your wizard is holding, or that is on your wizard's home square to its original owner's home square.

NEUTRAL - SPAM* - Allows the wizard to distract the WANDERING MONSTER for one round.

NEUTRAL/ATTACK- LOS - LEASH - Leashes any two players or objects together so that neither can move or be moved further away from the other than when the spell was cast. Duration equals NUMBER card played. This card is an ATTACK card if one or more of the victims are wizards.

stone - SLOWSTONE - Reduces movement by one per round. This stone cannot be dropped by normal means. Display when drawn. DROP OBJECT, CARD ERASURE, SWAP HANDS and similar spells will get rid of the SLOWSTONE.

stone - WIMPSTONE - Reduces damage done to opponents and objects by one point per attack. This stone cannot be dropped by normal means. Display when drawn. DROP OBJECT, CARD ERASURE, SWAP HANDS and similar spells will get rid of the WIMPSTONE.

NEUTRAL - LUCK - This may be played at any time. It allows the caster to control the outcome of any one random event.
